After two solid preliminary rounds, including a 5th place, BSS Hesperus Eickenrode Audi Scappino and Andres Berganza qualified for the final of the National Championships for 7-year-olds in Mexico. The pair put up another strong performance in the final and placed 13th. Yet another good result for the Zirocco Blue VDL-son out of Boracific VDL prok elite sport-spr prestatie by Indorado.
Extra special: this is the fourth Eickenrode-bred horse that reaches a final of the national championships for young horses this year. In the Netherlands this were Icarius Eickenrode with Henri Stegeman (15th), Icelos Eickenrode and Rob Heijligers (7th and finalist in World Championships in Lanaken), in the United Kingdom we saw Jinocentia Eickenrode and Joanne Whitaker and in Mexico Hesperus Eickenrode with Andres Berganza.
