April 25th our mare Kalorata Eickenrode (Cardento x Heartbreaker) gave birth to her first foal. It is a quick, bay colt by Erco van ‘t Roosakker that was named Ocellus Eickenrode. Ocellus is Latin for ‘apple of the eye, pearl’.
In 2024 Ocellus made his international show debut at CSI De Wolden. After two solid days he qualified for the Youngster Tour Final for 5-year-olds in which he was double clear and placed 7th.
In 2025 Ocellus participated in the World Breeding Championships for Young Jumper Horses at Lanaken. Over three days with three challenging courses, he only had one rail down.
