In May we welcomed a colt by Eldorado vd Zeshoek TN out of our mare Debutante Fortuna, a ster D-OC mare by Vingino that obtained 85 points for jumping as a three-year-old. This elegant, athletic foal was named Theilatos, ancient-Greek for ‘driven by a god’. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


Dam Debutante Fortuna <\/a>(s.Vingino) already produced the international 1.45m approved stallion Imnotafraid Fortuna of Liam O\u2019Meara (IRL). The mare is half-sister to five international show jumpers, including WC Lanaken contestant Iscolavsco Fortuna and Go To Fortuna (s.Eldorado vd Zeshoek) 1.50m under Bertram Allen, to which this colt is therefore closely related. A generation further we find the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Bulavsco (s.Verdi), successful with Sanne and Leon Thijssen, and Queen Jane (s.Colman) of TJ O\u2019Mara\/McLain Ward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The damline goes back to a Nimmerdor-mare Ilavsca that produced an 1.30m appointed stallion that passed away prematurely, Wim Janssen \/Kate McNair\u2019s 1.45m Grand Prix show jumper Biskit, the 1.50m international show jumper Bottorfer and Josh Moore\u2019s\u202fCIC2* eventing horse Funnyboy Fortuna. Ilavsca is the full sister of international 1.60m jumper horses Partner SD (ex:Andor Fortuna) and Handor Fortuna and the at NRPS approved Grand Prix stallion Lost Boy\u2019s Nandor Fortuna, that participated in the 1998 World Championships of Rome. All four descend from preferent prestatie mare Ulavsca (Rigoletto x Wagner x Goudhaantje), that turned out to be of immense influence in Dutch breeding.\u202f International showjumpers like Zandorrini Fortuna (s.Berlin), Vorione Fortuna (s.Orion Fortuna), Zellobee (s.Berlin) and the KWPN approved stallions Entertainer (s.Warrant) and Comfortuna VDL descend from this damline as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Theilatos Eickenrode was sold at Elite Foal Auction Borculo to a showjumping stable in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
